Home for Christmas

Home for Christmas
Twelve Days of Christmas. Twelve Ways to Give.
Christmas reminds us that through Christ, we are welcomed into God's family. We are no longer strangers, but members of His household.
At Mully Children's Family, that love is reflected in the care children receive each day. A safe place to sleep. Nourishing meals. Opportunities to learn and grow. Faith to guide them. And the comfort of knowing they belong.
Through our Twelve Days of Christmas, you can help provide these everyday essentials for children and families in Kenya. Each gift meets a real need, from a bunk bed that offers a child a safe place to rest to a Bible that helps nurture their faith.
This Christmas, we invite you to choose one gift, several, or the complete Twelve Days and join us in caring for the children and families the Lord has entrusted to us.
-
Day 1 On the first day of Christmas
Rest
Give a child a safe place to rest.
Every child deserves a place to rest their head and know they are safe. As the MCF family continues to grow, so does the need for beds.
A bunk bed provides a child with a place of their own to rest, recover, and wake rested and ready for another day.
-
Day 2 On the second day of Christmas
Opportunity
Give a young woman the tools to build a future.
Through vocational training, young women at MCF learn practical sewing skills that can help them create, earn an income, and build a more secure future for themselves and their children. It all starts with a needle, thread, and a bolt of fabric.
-
Day 3 On the third day of Christmas
Learning
Give a child a place to learn and grow.
A desk provides more than a place to sit in a classroom. It gives a child space to focus, participate, and make the most of every lesson.
As MCF classrooms continue to grow, more desks help create a better learning environment where students can work comfortably and stay engaged.
-
Day 4 On the fourth day of Christmas
Nourishment
Give a child the nourishment they need to learn and grow.
For many children in the communities MCF serves, the meal provided at school is the only one they will receive that day. It offers nourishment, consistency, and relief from the weight of hunger. Through MCF community school feedings, your gift helps place a dependable meal in front of a child who might otherwise go without.
-
Day 5 On the fifth day of Christmas
Understanding
Put the right books in a student's hands.
With Kenya's curriculum continuing to change, students need current textbooks to keep pace with what they are learning. A textbook becomes a resource they can return to again and again as they study, strengthen their understanding, and prepare for what comes next.
-
Day 6 On the sixth day of Christmas
Provision
Plant the seeds that help feed The World's Largest Family.
MCF farms grow more than 80% of the food the children eat each year. Each sack of maize seed helps turn fertile ground into a harvest that will nourish thousands of children in the months ahead.
-
Day 7 On the seventh day of Christmas
Stability
Give a family a resource that keeps giving.
Goats provide families with nourishing milk and a source of income as their herds grow. What begins with one practical gift can help a family meet everyday needs and move toward greater self-sufficiency.
-
Day 8 On the eighth day of Christmas
Protection
Give a child comfort through the night.
Mosquito nets and blankets provide essential comfort and protection for children, mothers, and babies across MCF. Nets help guard against mosquito-borne illness, while blankets offer warmth and a sense of security, especially for the youngest and most vulnerable.
-
Day 9 On the ninth day of Christmas
Dignity
Give a girl what she needs, every day of the month.
For many girls, a lack of menstrual products can mean missing several days of school each month. Feminine hygiene kits provide essential products and undergarments, giving girls a reliable way to manage their periods safely and continue their daily routines without interruption.
-
Day 10 On the tenth day of Christmas
Movement
Put sturdy shoes on growing feet.
As children grow and new children are welcomed into the MCF family, the need for shoes never stops. Crocs are durable, easy to clean, and well suited for everyday life in Kenya, protecting children's feet as they walk, learn, and play.
-
Day 11 On the eleventh day of Christmas
Sustainability
Fuel the work that keeps MCF running.
Diesel powers farm equipment used to grow food for the MCF family, as well as vehicles that support medical care, child rescue, community outreach, and ministry. It is a practical resource behind work that reaches children and families every day.
-
Day 12 On the twelfth day of Christmas
Faith
Place God's Word in a child's hands.
At MCF, faith is woven into daily life through chapel, devotions, Bible study, and personal discipleship. A Bible gives each child God's Word to return to again and again as they grow in their understanding of His love and deepen their walk with Christ.
